Humanizing Knowledge… and a Rising Society
Council for Humanistic Studies (ICHS) About Us
The International Council for Humanistic Studies (ICHS) is a consulting, training, and intellectual entity operating on a fully professional, pro-bono basis, under the academic and legal umbrella of Rketa International College. We represent a knowledge bridge connecting the “elite of academia” with the “realities of societies,” believing that knowledge is not an intellectual luxury, but rather the primary tool for change in building conscious and sustainable societies.
Our Story: Why Are We Here?
The Role of the Council in Community Empowerment
In a world brimming with rapidly evolving challenges, from economic crises to digital social transformations, we observed a widening gap between what is taught in the closed halls of universities and what individuals need in their daily lives.
This is why the Council was established: to bridge this gap, not by offering abstract theories, but by translating profound academic expertise into practical applications, training courses, and policy recommendations that directly impact people’s lives. We are here to break the monopoly on knowledge and make quality training a right accessible to all, not a commercial commodity.
Our Strategic Identity
1. Vision
To be the world’s leading beacon in the “humanization of knowledge”, and the most reliable bridge connecting local communities to empowerment and awareness, through a voluntary system that provides access to quality education and training for everyone without exception, ultimately leading to a world of knowledge equity.
2. Mission
To mobilize intellectual energies and academic and professional expertise from around the world, directing them towards addressing humanitarian issues and societal challenges. This is achieved through holding rigorous conferences and providing affordable, high-quality training and educational programs aimed at building individual capacities and achieving sustainable development.
Our Core Values: The Compass of Our Work
Every decision and activity we undertake is guided by a firmly established value system:
1. Cognitive Justice: We believe that access to knowledge and high-quality training is a fundamental human right, not limited to those who are financially able. We strive to break down the barriers that hinder individuals’ access to learning.
2. Professional Volunteerism: Being volunteers does not mean compromising on quality. We adhere to the highest standards of institutional and academic performance befitting leading institutions, offering the “charity of knowledge” in the best possible way.
3. Inclusive Humanity: We serve humanity as a whole, regardless of race, religion, or nationality. Poverty, education, and mental health are shared global issues, and we unite our efforts to address them.
4. Synergy: We do not work in isolation. We believe that the greatest impact is the result of the combined efforts of academics, trainers, donors, and the local community.
5. Transparency: We adopt a clear and transparent business model, both financially and administratively, which ensures the sustainability of the initiative and builds trust with our partners.
Our Pillars: What Do We Offer?
The Council translates its mission through three main avenues:
The Intellectual Platform (Conferences and Seminars): Holding international conferences and dialogue seminars (in-person and virtual) to discuss current issues and challenges facing individuals and communities (social, psychological, and educational), and to develop recommendations for decision-makers.
The Community Academy (Training and Empowerment): The Council’s training arm, which offers high-quality courses and workshops (free or for a nominal fee) in the fields of human development, management, and life skills, with the aim of economic and social empowerment for individuals.
Impact Creation and Scientific Research: Publishing policy papers and research summaries that offer practical solutions to societal problems, and promoting a culture of scientific research that directly serves human needs.
Structure and Governance
To ensure quality and credibility, the Council operates according to a “hybrid” organizational structure that combines academic rigor with voluntary flexibility:
Honorary Presidency: Represented by Rketa International College, which serves as the Council’s legal and accrediting umbrella.
Supreme Advisory Council: Comprising a select group of leading academics and public figures, responsible for formulating public policies and approving strategies.
General Secretariat: The executive body that manages daily operations and oversees specialized committees (Research Committee, Training Committee, International Relations Committee, etc.).
Why the Council?
For the Community: An opportunity to obtain high-quality training and accredited certificates at an affordable cost, and to participate in high-level dialogues that broaden horizons.
For Volunteers: A unique career path that allows them to contribute their expertise, obtain official “Volunteer Experience” certificates, build an international network, and advance within the Council.
For Partners and Donors: A trusted platform for achieving Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and ensuring that support reaches those who need it through well-planned and monitored development programs.
